Chuck,
It’s not my RR. It is Todd Haskins Rock Root and Pup Poop RR. I only posted it for him here because he didn’t supply a link

Thanks Joe
Nice video Todd. Good to see someone using chimney flue pipe as tunnel lining. I thought of using that that for going through my concrete front steps if I ever replace them. I also like the robotic weed unloader. Almost looks human. Great job!
Speaking of tunnels I caught Crane Lake #12 Climax just coming out of the Southfork Tunnel early this morning.

Holy Cow !! great pics Rick
Thanks for posting the link there Joe. Silly that I forgot it. Comments appreciated. The 12x12 flu liner does make for a quick tunnel. I have a 2’ a 4’ and a 6’ tunnel made from them.
Nice photos Rick. I’m a fan of those Climaxes.
Now that I finally figured out how to get the pics off the smart(a$$) phone, here are a couple of pics from some play time on April 27th. Took out my Connie for a run with a couple of bashed cars, a Bachmann 1:20 tank and the Bachmann D&RGW crummy. Got to the club early, and got the best track.
Fisrt shot is on the front side of the layout near the entrance gate, with one of our 7 1/2" gauge engineers giving rides in the back ground as she rounds the curve.

Here she is further through the curve…

Last she is exiting the new bridge on our layout, built by one of our members who also happens to be an engineer on CSX. There is no specific prototype for this bridge, just his interpretation from a number of photos of bridges of this type. He is a fantastic modeler and extremely adept at taking an HO model and scaling it up to G scale.

Late in the afternoon after running for about 6 hours, the drive gear finally failed. She would run great on the flat, but the grade (1.5%) she almost could not make. The backshop has ordered the replacement parts. Now to schedule the time to make the repairs.
All of these were taken on my LG Intuition phone.
Took advantage of another nice spring day. Today I ran some battery trians while I did some work on the layout. Temps low 70’s and sunny.
First we will start out with some scenes along the line.

Shawn layout is looking great. Regards,Ron.
Pictures look great Shawn. If the weather co-operates this weekend I might get some late spring pics myself.
Really nice seeing all the pics guys. The layouts are looking good.
Nice detail on the tunnel Rick M.
I ran a few trains yesterday to test out and photograph the just arrived ProtoHands air hoses & glad hands. As the train went through Coal Dump Curve I did manage to get a few railfan shots too…

I wish…nothing but rain here every weekend
But it makes my heart glad to see photos of sunshine and trains running
Ralph
If it’s any consolation Ralph it was gloomy here most of the day Saturday, but overcast skies make for good pictures. Today it’s dark and rainy :[ I hope next weekend is better in PA.
Nice Jon. What was suppose to be a nice day yesterday was rain for us and again today grrrrr. I have to check out my schedule and see what day works best to head up to you. The layout is looking nice with all the green.

This little section looks real good. The majority of it still needs a good cleaning of fall and spring debris; some plantings, mulch and ballast. Was going to start the clean up today but too wet and cold, so we are off to Lowes to spend money on more stuff we need to plant.
The invite is open so long as you accept that the basement part of the layout is in a storage area and not pretty :] Oh that and we don’t do roundy-round. There are no loops at all. I’ll teach you to enjoy operations.

I know; but we are a museum / tourist line running in the present; not a struggling narrow gauge in the 40’s.
