Some cool steam whistle action as the Southern 630 slowly pulls away from the station in Bristol.

I got a kick out of the chuff echoing off the buildings. The video caught it pretty good too!

Really neat videos Ralph… Love them. Can you make a shot of the trains some time so we can see what the cars lines as they go by? I see a lot of the videos that not sure how they painted pass cars… Looks like I seen a Atlantic Coast Line beside Penn’s. We don’t get to see many old pass cars and there paint scream that are still running beside what we have out here on the west coast.
Keep them coming guy.

I think most of the cars are lettered for either Tennessee Valley or Norfolk and Western.

I have seen Southern 630 on the Roaoke VA web cam. She is a resident of the Tennessee Valley RR and does specials for NS as many here weill know.

A great collection of well looked after locos it seems.

Thanks Noel.
I’ve got quite a few shots of old passenger cars from a lot of different excursions.
However, my Freight shed is full here.
When I get time I’ll upload some to Flickr and send you a link.

Wow, what awesome pictures. I would of loved to have been riding on one of those cars.

Thanks

Another video from 3 weeks ago
The Southern 630 is working pretty good as she rolls through Wytheville, VA.
