Well, I received an Eggliner for Christmas. I was happily surprised to discover that the Eggliner has enough space for my g3 receiver and 14.8v battery pack after I removed the shell. I think it will make for a nice conversion. However, many of you suggested that the Mack was the best choice for a small battery powered loco, and I wholeheartedly agree with y’all. With that being said, I intend to convert a Mack to r/c after the current Eggliner conversion to expand my “fleet” of small battery locos. Thank you everyone for all your suggestions.
