A view of the back of the panel. Most of the wiring is in place. The circuit boards make the wiring nice and tidy.
Needed to figure out how to represent the maintainer call light on a signal bungalow. A frosted red LED and a bit of wire work with some jewelers pliers gives a reasonable look of an industrial cage light.

This maintainer lights on grade crossing bungalows used to be turned off randomly by officials doing rules testing when I was working for BNSF. And us train crews were supposed to be looking for the lights on the bungalows ( and blow for the crossing, watch for cars, etc) and report when the lights were out. I seem to recall one crew “failing” an ops test because they failed to report a burnt out light. But officials had a certain ops test failure rate they wanted every month so it was just a big game.

I remember reading about an instance where the supervisor or whatever would put a can over the signal so it would be dark and then give the crew problems because they didn’t stop in time, even though a burned out bulb would drop the previous signal to approach.
