Large Scale Central

Show your train area?

The museum is open for visiting by appointment. They are guided tours. Further details are available here:

Laurentian History Museum | The Rodrigue Museum

But during the Fall/Winter/Spring seasons, myself along with some G-Scale train friends, are present and are running the layout. If you want to visit the layout including/excluding the whole museum, I strongly suggest you to come during these days. We are running on the 3rd Saturday of each month, from September to April inclusively.

The Redding yards looking South

Canyon Creek the first town after leaving Redding.

Smith Camp Resort as we arrive in the mountains.

Camp Six, the main logging camp of the South Fork Timber Co.

the mountain community of Hyampom is the next stop.

Dropping down to the coast along the bay we have the small community of Bayside.

Here on the coast is the main sawmill of the South Fork Timber Co.

And finally we arrive at the coastal town and sea port of Fields Landing where the trains are turned for a return to Redding.

Thanks Cliff;

Always enjoy watching layout videos. I had a “Gasp” moment when it looked like the train was going to hit a diagonal brace inside a tunnel. That was a real Diagon Ally experience!
