Shelf Width for Two Tracks

Cale, made my first trip around your oval, Shay engine, now I see how tight the curve is, thats as about as tight as I think it would negociate, large engines would have to have long radius curves, thanks for your help, Bruce in Southern OHIO of the Southen OHIO Railway ( what about name??? )

Works out for me…you can interchange with my West Virgina & Kentucy…we’ll be the Tristate route…

Will have come up with lettering and a emblem, state of Ohio outline and a star in South Point, outline of tri-state and a section of track, help me out here!!! Bruce

Bought 16" wide Closet Maid shelving at Lowes couple of days ago, going to have to raise shelving about 5 to 6" up to clear garage door when I open, found out that the two parallel runs of round stock you see are the exact guage of G - 45 mm, placed a car on them and rolls great, just to let you know, would work great for display use. I’m going to run two tracks around some day, first have to place and support Closet Maid.

Photo from floor, going to use 10’ radius curves, will have to cut shelving and work out the bends with shelving. Will make some of the supports off of garage door rails and trapeze hangs in this area.

Any ideas appreciated, planning on making up brackets to be supported off of wall on other three walls. thanks as always, Bruce in southern OHIO
