Scratch GE ES44AC build

Uh Oh Boss. That looks ominous!!

A better view with the shell set on.

I just have to straighten out a few dozen wires!

a better look at them for now…

I don’t care how you light them up Joe…we want ( I want build pics) …you have made some awesome advances with this build …screw the lights and show us detail…JUST MY OPINION

It’s all good (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

This is what makes this site so cool, I doubt I would ever attempt something like this, but it is really cool to watch over your shoulder as you build this. Thanks Joe

Sure Boss. After spending about a week and countless dollars trying to do the lights, I can’t impress you!

I will get back on the details. I can’t paint, until they are done, and I can’t wait to see her in paint!

Thanks Pete. I share in the hopes that someone will enjoy it. “Some, you just can’t reach”.

What holes? He said it took the old folk all day for that detail in that picture. I thought he was talking about the T shaped door pull. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

The screen to the top left of the door handle.

The door handle is impressive too.

Sweet build!!

I didn’t realize how much time has passed since I worked on this engine. Many things popped up that had to be done. Nice weather needs to be taken advantage of before the winter sets in. I finally made it downstairs to do some more work on this. I spent extra time trying to get some bad castings to work with the metal screens. I should have just made new ones from scratch.

Good to see you back on it Joe. I’d say most understand the ‘life gets in the way’ thing. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

I finally got back at it once again. More than two days working on the pilots and steps that I had been avoiding. Still have a long way to go…
