Thanks Boomer. that’s the upper reverse loop, or as the train crews call it, The Gastonville go-round. They also call it the summit, since the track levels off there from the 2.58% climb up from the lower reverse loop, right there where it goes straight. Then it starts going back downhill where the train starts going around the tree on the right side of the picture.
