Because you have none out in the desert? Depth of field trickery. What isn’t in the foreground is in reality 30 feet or more beyond the track and is my neighbor’s hedge of Hemlock trees. Because this area is 4 feet higher than my back lawn the grass is out of view.
Actually the Sonoran Desert is known as The Green Desert, but there is a big difference between scrub green and lush green. We get a hint after a monsoon (summer rain) until it evaporates…
