Large Scale Central

Remember I've said we run in all weather?

Bruce,

I meant to ask earlier, how you liked the 2-8-0? I don’t know which version you had, Dave has had them all. Every change I make Dave checks them out. He keeps those he likes.

Barry - BBT

Barry,
I thought it ran great! I’m not sure the version, either, but we had no problems with it at all pulling 10 cars up the slope. Ran smooth.

The weathering on the truck is impressive. But that look at that moss. Suck attention to detail, even did the driveway/parking area. Wow!
You want weathering? Check out the photo of Bruce and Dave!!!

There is weathering, and then there is mileage...

mileage factors, so does just plain age!
The locomotive is an ex-Bachmann Anniversary, with the latest style BBT Anniversary drive, pivoting lead driver axle, countershaft drive.

TOC, Thanks to the submerged underwater train operator’s training you gave Bruce he was successful in running a train here on the POC. As soon as Bob restores the multiple “browse” buttons in the Freight Sheds upload I’ll have a string of photos to post. In the meantime here’s an appetiser of your erstwhile pupil beginning his run from the unfinished Bandon area on the Port Orford Coast R.R.

We had a great time and what wonderful people Bruce and his lovely wife Jean are. I sincerely hope we can do it again.

Oh man, this is just cruel. One picture? BOB, help the poor man if you can. We need more than one picture.

I can post more than one.
What am I missing?

Must be different controllers…

It’s not the posting it’s the uploading to my webspace here on LSC. Only one photo at a time. Takes forever (well, not quite that long). Not a problem really with just a couple of photos but I as usual have a bit more than that. Bob said he’d bring the multiple browse buttons back so 4 or so can be uploaded at a time. Just waiting for him.

I can upload the photos to my other space but would rather keep them here since this is where most will be posted. I’ll do that if Bob can’t get to doing the change for awhile.

I just double-checked.
I can upload ten at once.
Still.

TOC

I can just see the photo titles…

“A Bandon Mine”
“A Bandon Warehouse”
“A Bandon Railroad Station”

LOL

Matthew (OV)

I can only load one picture at a time since the new “Freight Shed” was installed. I like the other features, but the single shot loading is not as good as I would like. Patiently waiting.

So maybe TOC will give us a clue how he does 10 at a time. I thought he was doing multiple selections in the same browse box. That doesn’t work in MyFiles which I think is the same upload interface.

I don’t know.
It’s actually more than it used to be.
I have a window that has ten sections, each a “browse”.
I click “browse”, find that photo, go to the next, etc.
When I have all of them, up to ten, I hit “finish”.

http://www.lscdata.com/hosting.cgi
then log in.

http://lscdata.com/hosting.cgi?command=manager
then hit “upload files”.

Looks like ten to me.

If I go to the “Freight Shed” and get to my account that way, I get one “Browser” slot to load from. If I use the files Dave says to use, I get 10 “Browser” slots. Haven’t tried to load 10 pictures, but it sure looks like it wouold work. Thanks Dave.

Ric,

The 10 slots work. I just did 10 photos at once. Yipee!
Thanks for the link Dave.

See Bob’s note over in the Website forum. This is the old interface and it won’t work for everyone. Glad we got to see your pictures though Richard.

Here are a few pictures from the CCRR that I have taken over the last few years!

OK, gentlemen that did not work and I followed the directions!!!
