Rudy what are you saying? that I wont get my Nigerian Treasury check? Uh oh there goes the Christmas fund
Don't feel bad Victor. I blew my Christmas fund on online gambling that I just had to pull myself out of. Damn---it seemed so easy at first. Thats my own fault though---no one approached me and I knew better but in two weeks of playing the fool I finally saw the light and will now put that money into something useful like supporting the panhandlers and meth heads :)

The sad part is some people are stupid enough to believe this stuff and actually send the money. Thats why we have so many saftey lables on products because some stupid person did what the label says not to do. LOL

Thats like when I go into the city or somewhere and someone comes up to me asking for money because they were robbed. I say back it sucks to be you and walk away.

I’ve had panhandlers use that excuse too. I’d be much more likely to give them a dollar if they came up and said they were an alcoholic or a drug addict and needed money to support their habit.

A lot of these people make good tax free money doing this. If I was built different and had bigger balls and no consciece I’d be down at the strip malls every day in my costume (old ragged clothes) unshaven with my sign and hand out.

Here in Seaside theres a corner where Del Monte Blvd ties into Fremont Blvd. Theres and island with a stop sign so everyone going onto Fremont from Del Monte has to stop at this location. There used to be an older guy that staged himself there daily and he made a mint from the people that stopped at that sign.

I got into a conversation with him one day at the mall down the street in Sand City and he let it out of the bag that he owned his own house, was getting a good government pension from the army and that this second income was the best thing he ever found.

There was a couple in Ft. Worth years ago pulling the “work for food” scam.
They would take turns standing on the corner with two young children and a dog.
They traveled by taxi, lived in a motel and ate every meal at very nice restaurants.

People have no shame. Now you can panhandle from the comfort of your home.
IF I truly needed help…I couldn’t do this.

Dont know anyone by this name, here or in Britain, always approach unusual messages with care. Surprised this one got by the spam filter.

Dont worry, I didnt actually open the message, just used the ‘view message source’ feature on AOL and then deleted it. nice way to investigate questionable messages content without actually opening them.

Okaaaaaaaaaay.

Let’s just go through this one.

The post-code/ZIP code, as Alan noted, is a multi-occupancy block and a nearby pub - a fairly low-end local one at that - see -

Whoever wrote this is an American-English speaker - the syntax is pure US or somebody who can simulate it. The address ‘roads’ is a fraud - here in UK, ‘roads’ are the sea approaches to a sea-port, not a street address.

I checked via my sources about the alleged gun-point mugging - you will not be surprised to learn that no such incident has been reported to the LMP this year, in spite of all you hear about the UK and its burgeoning crime rate.

Keep your money in your pocket, or better still, send it to me care of my nephew Richard, down in Port Orford.

How about this investment ditty - pure fantasy or is it? “Hello, My company has had difficulty with marketing our product – we keep getting either bought out, or not bought out, or bankrupt, or somewhere in the middle of those things. Please consider investing at this point because in our financial sequence there is nothing happening. Our product is well-known, it is called LGB.”

There are plenty of candidates in NA for that one.

Not only in NA HJ. I am sure many folk this side of the Atlantic also would part with their money to bale out their fav. train company, after all they did it when it was in full production. Needless to say I am not one of them. lol Mention was made of street beggars. (yep, I did get the spelling right). Some years ago in London we watched young able bodied people accosting passers by (mainly tourists) for hand outs. It was quite noticeable how well fed they looked - certainly not on skid row! I guess for some folks ‘it is easy come and easy go’ - or - ‘there’s one born every minute’

Support the Nigerian economy! Support Somali Pirates, they’re just trying to make a living! Ok, so maybe I better stick to World Vision

Yes, it is marvellous to see how upset they (and the usual useful idiots) get when someone shoots back at them, the poor little beggars.
