Rain Runoff

Well, we fianlly got a few raindrops, to check the slope… Needs a little fine tuning, and ready to cover with a rock base…

The “Y” trestle is being fitted on the right side, then the 2 bridge sections will be trimmed and placed, and then trestle will be added to connect the left side…

Of course, this all has to be done by this coming Friday, for the Ops session…

Wow, that is a lot of water. No wonder you need a complete rebuild.

Most of the work under the Y bridge is completed, so the bridge and approcahes have been re-installed for this weekends Operating session…

Some pictures are below, of the finished area… The light trestles will be re-stained a draker color, after this weekend…

In this picture the Bluestone Southern mainline goes off to the right, while the beginning trackage of the Evansville Western, bares off to the left. The new track configuration called for an “S” curve around the dwarf Alberta spuce and created a great picture opportunity as a train approaches the wye and the BS mainline. Picture looks good, in person it is really great. Track speed through here is 30 mph on the EWRR.
