POW Lawsuit Could Force Kerry To Come Clean

Oh! ...and by the way, why not try Saddam in a full open International court for all the crimes he allegedly committed. Not just the select crimes where no real scrutiny of his involvement with the West is likely to come out.
I have no problem with that. Any cozying that was done, was done (clumsy sentense, I know) to counter Iran, who had attacked our Embassy and held Americans hostage for 485 +/- days, as a direct result of Jimmy Carter selling out the Pshaw of Iran, our long term ally in the region. It was this act that gave Islamofascism its start. Any open International Court will also expose the Soviet Union/Russia's dealings in Iraq, along with France and Germany. Remember the Oil for Food scandal at the United Nations? There is far more dirty laundry to be aired than just a little cozying to keep Iran in check. It should be a fun time, though, just the sort of thing a historian will love to watch.

It will never happen for those reasons.

It’s my belief that if we had kept the devil sitting firmly on Pandora’s Box and fully resolved the Afganastan conflict and caught Osama Bin Laden first, then the situation in Iraq would have been much better for going in later. It’s my personal belief that our government has not tried to catch Osama simply so they can use that as an excuse to continue the “war on terrorism” for political and personal gain. We had the opportunity several times and blew it…at upper echelon levels. As for Saddam’s trial, I believe he is as guilty as sin but I also believe that the trial was an unfair, stacked kangaroo court.

Rather than call the fiasco in the Middle East a war on terrorism, it should be called the war of the devils. This is not meant to critisize the fighting personnel over there but the devils that put them in harm’s way.
