It’s from my layout in the seventies (last century!) and from slides, but it’s rather tiny and HO like…

Some of those structures seemed to have inspired the current layout (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

How true! I got a lot out of Model Railroader magazine- good articles with instructions on how to make them. I was inspired!

Thanks!

OK, this is from a 35mm film. It was sometime in the late 1980s or early 1990s. My Cousin Gregg took a photo of Trish, my work triceratops (a silent tribute to John Allen’s work stegosaurus, Emma). The saddle, harness, collar, and reins were all made from scratch, using lacing, brass rod stock, and leather from Tandy (remember them?). I did not have a layout as yet. (Finally had track on the ground for about 8 years, but got tired of cleaning away an inch of dead pine needles every time I wanted to run a train.)

Note the fully operational dwarf signal giving a “Clear” indication.

I think the photo had to be cropped, as it had too much back yard and not enough train material.

Anyway, I tended to do weird stuff even back then.
