Well who’s this?

I’m thinking he’s guilty !

Bill,
BTW…never met the guy myself (even though he’s LSC blood) but I have been know to steal a picture or two that he has posted over the years.

Ha! That’s the one I used too!

That photo was bloody hard to find for the Mikmas story. I kept finding quite a few bleeding finger shots before re-finding that one.

I’m starting to believe his workbench is more LSC blood than he is at this stage.:grimacing:

You didn’t ask ABCDEFGHIJK

Glad to know I’m still hiding behind my profile picture. :joy:

I’m pretty sure pictures of me exist on the internet.:thinking:

For a couple of years I “forgot” to get my staff picture taken for school and I went unpictured in the high school yearbook.

But I got this year I went and got a picture and now my staff page shows me. :sob:

Apologies Craig, I didn’t catch that. What high school was that again…:grimacing:?

That’s the challenge… :joy: It’s somewhere in the PNW.

Sherlock Hines at work…

Twas the night before Christmas and I was so bored,

There wasn’t even a trace of a Chevy or a Ford.

The presents were wrapped and the lights were all lit,

So I figured I’d mess with my C10 for a bit.

I popped the release and I lifted the hood,

When a deep voice behind me said “that looks pretty good.”

Well, as you can imagine, I turned mighty quick,

And there, by the workbench, stood good ol’ Saint Nick!

We stood there a bit, not too sure what to say,

Then he said, “I don’t suppose that you’d trade for my sleigh?

I said “no way, Santa” and he started to grin,

“But if you’ve got the time; we could go for a spin!”

His round little mouth, all tied up like a bow,

Turned into a smile and he said “Alright then! Let’s go!!”

So as not to disturb all the neighbors in retreat,

We quietly pushed the truck into the street,

Then, taking our places, we put the hood down,

When I turned the key there was a wonderful sound.

The sound that erupted took him by surprise,

But he liked it a lot, by the look in his eyes.

With Mickey’s a’ crying and dash lights aglow,

We headed to the highway, where we could really let go.

Santa’s grin widened, approaching his ears,

With every shift, as I went through the gears.

Then he yelled “can’t recall when I’ve felt so alive!”

So I backed off the gas and said “do you wanna drive?”

Ol’ Santa was stunned when I gave him the keys,

When he walked past the headlights he shook at the knees!

Then the 402 exploded with that great exhaust sound!

Santa stepped on the gas and the tires shook the ground!

He shifted into second, and then again into third!

I sat there just watching, at loss for a word,

Then I heard him exclaim as we blasted out of sight,

“Merry Squarebody Christmas to all……….Wayne, what a great night!!!”

  • Ok Rooster MUST know you… which explains why he hasn’t posted a photo… What’s PNW⁉️
  • I’m just going to mention that I’m not addicted to Pincel… but I’m in a waiting room again, and have time on my hands.

Challenge Accepted.

It’s somewhere…

  • in the Printer Not Working :face_with_raised_eyebrow: possible
  • in the Pregnant and Nursing Women 🙅
  • in the Prohibited Noxious Weeds :negative_squared_cross_mark:
  • in the Presbytery of Northern Waters :no_good_man:
  • in the Pontiac North West :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
  • in the Pacific North West :interrobang:

I feel like a CSI profiler now…
Cross referencing PNW with BNSF/trains/schools/cascade tunnel…

Hmmm… there is a Port Townsend in the PNW of NA.

Yes?

That’s pretty good research skills right there…

I’ve been found. :grimacing:

My nickname when I worked for BNSF was “Port”. Or at least that was one of them that I knew about.

I can’t say I’ve ever worn a tie to work. :joy:

Almost scary. I’m impressed and the pictures came out great.

Craig,
What was your job at BNSF and how far afield did that take you?

I worked in train service as a engineer, conductor, switchman, brakeman for 8 years of the the Puget Sound area. Got lots of stories. :joy:

I hired out at 18, got my engineer license before my 21st birthday and then spent years trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life after I realized that the RR life wasn’t for me. I got BNSF to pay for my first 2 years of college, used my paycheck to pay for the 2nd half, and buy a house. Set me up pretty good financially for when I left and got my Master degree with the intention of going into research/museum work. That didn’t pan out job wise, so spend even more money and time getting my teaching certification. I don’t miss the RR life and now with all the changes that have happened in the past 10 years I’m glad I left when I did. With RR workers you pay into Railroad Retirement vs Social Security like the rest of the nation. With RR you have to be 60 and 30 years of service. I would have been 60 and 42 years. I’m not sure I could have lasted 42 years. :joy:

When AI can be used to unlock face ID I’ll really start to worry. I was shocked the other day when one of my kids face unlocked my phone. Oops.

Almost pays not to be know “Visually” on here AND to be new. HA!

Unless Rooster doesn’t know you, then he will have a photo or 12

It’s getting harder to finish the poem, Korm. I’m having to learn Guarni for my next search. :grimacing:

well, that’ll keep you occupied for a decade or two…
