Can they pulverize it, so you won’t pass such a big chunk?

Yes. Why they don’t i have no idea. I am waiting on the doc to see if they are gonna do something.

Devon, I have had something like ten or eleven bouts of kidney stones over the years. However, I have never passed one; all of them had to be extracted, and i’ve had just about every type of extraction procedure known to medicine. Not a lot of fun but after what you’ve been through this year, I think you’ll do fine. You’re in my prayers and i’m happy to assist in any way I can. Hang in there. This, too, will pass …

Holy cow. I can’t imagine going through this so many times. And prayer is all I ask of anyone.

Oh…

Pun intended?

LOL, yes it was intended, but actually, in my case, it should have said, “This, too, will pass … or not”!

Guys I am just getting a serious beat down physically and emotionally. I just found out this morning that my nephew was killed in a car crash in Kent Wa last night. I am feeling weary today

Sorry to hear about that Devon.

Devon,

You’re sure going through an amplified testing period… Wow. Like Job.

Thanks for remaining the strong witness of God’s assistance.

You’ve sure proven yourself a hero through all this.

CJ

Devon,

I am so sorry to hear about the death of your nephew. You really do not need any bad news right now to impede your recovery. Stay strong. Your family needs you to.

My condolences, Devon, you and your family will be in my prayers

Devon

Sorry to hear for your loss, lifting you up in prayer

Dennis

Gentlemen,

I thank each and everyone of you for your support. This is no ordinary forum. Bob, thanks not only for bringing us together but for allowing us to be real friends. I know none of the last 16 pages of conversation have been train related, but I need them, I need this group. Many of you are becoming truly good friends. Again thanks for the continued support in what has been a challenging year. I hope in 2018 you all will be rewarded with train stuff fro me instead of drama.

I can say I have grown to be very fond of you guys.

So sorry to hear that… We’ve got your back. But Now I might feel a little bad about what I have in store for you with this years Mik’s Challenge… BTW its only 22 days away…

Dave

Don’t feel bad about anything on my account.

90% of the guys here are my Brothers by a different Mother.

The passing of two of our tribe, that I wouldn’t have been blessed to know without these forums, has left a void in my life.

I’m much better off being able to call all y’all; friends.

Oh goodie, a clue as to what the challenge is.

I still have no clue what it is though.

I’m very sorry for your loss, Devon. My condolences to you and your family.

Hi Devon:

I’ve missed a couple days here. Downright awful about your Nephew. I’m sorry to hear that.

Kidney stone: Had one. Stayed home from work about 4 days. Short story is about 2 days before doctors said they, “would go after it,” it passed. However, prior to that a couple things. First, someone said or suggested that they’d had success by going outside and jumping up and down vigorously for a while. I was so disgusted with everything, I did just that. Second, later that afternoon I passed what looked like a little liquid rust. Panicked a bit; called doctor. He laughed and said that’s just dried blood, but probably indicated it was on the move. Later, (same day I think), it passed. Caught it, (as instructed), and it was calcium. Doctor said that was typical and did not indicate anything bad. Said I’d probably gotten dehydrated some 18 months or so previously, a speck of something stopped somewhere and it took that long to build up. Also said if I avoided getting dehydrated in the future, I likely would never have one again. That was about 15 years ago. Now I’m not endorsing the jumping up-and-down, and it may have had nothing to with moving it along, but that’s my story.

Look forward to seeing you in person at meetings when this all is in the past. Which will happen.

Dennis

Dennis thanks for your concern. I will be at the Christmas party unless something else happens. My private doc (Steve Featherkyle) keeps telling me to drink more water. That’s about all I drink. Minimum of half a gallon a day daily. Now I am drinking a gallon a day. I am not sure how much more I can drink. Bit I am going to start forcing it.

Don’t drown, I’m not kidding, just replace, don’t over load your system! Please accept this second quack’s opinion.(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-sealed.gif)
