Well I am back among the living. Surgery went well and was a success as the shunt is already draining. For the first time in a long while I have no pressure or ringing in my ear. Have a headache but considering what was just done to me that’s kinda a no brainer (pun very much intended

Glad to hear you are improving. Although anything draining from Devon’s head is a cause for national concern…I will alert the proper authorities. Whom ever they may be.

Hazmat?

The EPA?

Not sure Maynard but when I mentioned a problem with Devon’s brain the 911 operator immediately forwarded me to the Mattel Toy Company. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Devon and Gary… we have the technology to protect you. And for some reason this is how I always envisioned the two of you even without the surgery.

Devon is being sprung from the hospital, this morning. Apparently, he can pee and fart, and that’s all they need to release him.

Of course, if Devon was peeing and farting all over my place, I’d kick him out, too. (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-innocent.gif)

I once had to lie to get released!

Do we have to wait until next week to ask him if the layout is done yet?

I see you’re doing a Calvin Coolidge imitation!

Lol all of you people sure are having fun at my expense. But you’re not the only ones. So yesterday the nurse came to put in my IV and says to me you need this IV like you need a hole in the head. Yuk yuk. I might have reacted negatively but she was cute.

When you are finished with nurse could you send her my way please ?

Now quit screwing around and bet back to working with your hands !

Something to consider with your new look, just throwing it out there. Of course your eggs would be scrambled.

Lol I am a step ahead. I haven’t told my wife yet and may not. But so I gave a valve in my head right? I think when I am all healed up I am going to get “on” and “off” tatooed on either side

How about under that, “Use of this device requires adult supervision”

LOL…You can’t do that! You’ll confuse your neurologist when it comes time to reprogram the valve :).

I’ll have them tattoo an arrow. Showing which way to spin the magnet

You all think I am kidding. Friday afternoon my wife is leaving for Canada. That same evening I have an appointment to get my Dr loveless beard.

I thought it was brain salad surgery. Why are there eggs on the tattoo?

I vote for “DRAIN DAILY”

I think all that ink will make your head hotter, so remember to always wear your Protection;

Armour up with your Armadillo hat!

It’s natural!

Devon, Lou’s probably right (at least for me), so I need to add a couple of no-joking comments. I’ve been praying for you, and will keep doing so; and I hope all God’s blessings on your speedy and full recovery. You’ll have a powerful story when all this is over.

With best regards,

Cliff
