Okay, I feel better now. :) Guess SWMBO is right! She thinks we are all a little of the wall. Did not expect to have this many replies to the thread, but I guess we are just a bunch of old pharts playing with toy trains. (And maybe too many Ales were drank last night). ;)
“old pharts” doesn’t refer to age, it refers to attitude.
well, if i think about the alternatives…
our hobby beats hanging on a barstool, trying not to loose balance before the money runs out, or similar recreations by lengths!

I can’t even say I was railroaded! I did this all by myself! I just get crazier and crazier! Back to the workshop…
I had N-guage trains when I was a youngun’ and played with them til I discovered girls and cars. Then the trains were put away in boxes. 45 years later I stumble across this site and I am ‘hooked’ again. It’s all your guy’s fault!
I want a pony!
You can’t have a pony! Your city lot ain’t big enough. Maybe Dad can get a pony and keep it at his house for you.
P.S. Sorry to here about Shorty…feel you loss.

I am enjoying this new found hobby, but it seems I have too many irons in the fire. -replace a final drive gear in a Connie. -mount front couplers on 2 Annies -mount rear coupler on one Annie. -shorten the length between engine and tender on 2 Annies. -Build at least 3 bridges to complete my 'Winter build'. -Finish adding the details to the cars that I built almost a year ago. -I started cutting out the wood today for a batch of skeleton log cars. And i still don’t have a operating RR!
Am I NUTS! or just like the rest of you?
Now back to page one!
Yep your a nutcase!
