Number one song on December 16, 1970

I was 6mths 5days old at 12/16/70! However I still can’t get dads 8track of Jonny out of my head to this day!!! I’m scared for life with " My Ring of Fire" He was an awesome song writer though

Here’s a nice clip of Johnny doing Ring of Fire in 1968 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2iv_E-Fn9E

So far most all have sounded good.Good to find a group that doesn’t lst the Beagals first.

Good reflections overall, I'm going to have to look up a CCR best of CD. Memorable stuff.
What? You mean you don't have all that stuff on vinyl and the cassettes? I can't believe it!

BTW Tina’s “Proud Mary” is way better than CCR’s, goes really well with “River deep, Mountain high”, too! Like back to back and let them go nuts! Naturally that’s just my opinion!

I have about 500 of the old classic rock titles on vinyl. I spend cold winter nights ripping them to .wav files.
