Large Scale Central

New improvements/additions to layout

It is pleasing to see your railroad again Shawn now that the cover of snow has gone. It is a great railroad with plenty of interest, particularly the structures.

Since I built my RR five years ago I have found, like the bigger 1:1 guys, things don’t stand still. There are always improvements and alterations to be done. My limitation is space…aaargh!

Well?

Thanks again guys.

Holleywood I got some good stuff in the works. I redid the spar tree and reworking the camp around. So far its looking much better. Also going to extend the camp siding. Weather was great today 78 degrees so i iused today as a day to just run trains and got the spar tree up. Pics as soon as I get the logging camp scene set up.

Shawn you know we need those pics.

LOL I know but pics wont be good until the scene is put together. Thats what will bring the logging scene to life. I didnt creat the world in one day :)

Im getting their. I got the main frame of logging bunk houses completed. Just have to add the roof some siding, doors and windows. Then I will be able to put them out with some details. Hopefully soon will get pictures. I also expaned the garden part out a little. I wanted to make a flat area with some low growing flowers as a ground cover. I then planted some columbine in the center around a large boulder and some taller stuff along the outer edge. So far looks good. Might add another backwoods cabin for Holleywood to live in. :)

Shawn were not asking for a picture of the world, just your railroad.

LOL I have lots of lakes but I have to drive to them.

Very nice layout. Love the track setting, very realistic disposition of balast and sidetrack structures.
And, of course, very nice buildings.
Congratulations.
Regards,

Xavier

Look real good Shawn.
David

I see pictures that were posted back in March, nothing new since then. What am I missing?
