Car horns anymore are so wimpy unless you have a rig!

Don’t be so gullible. You don’t really believe that they actually used the horns from those cars do you?

@Joe … It was probably the same unit, only they had no place up front for it. I had several very Looooong flights in a S2… And the heat in the back was not so great… Nor was the view… Luckily we never got very high.


I was an Aviation Electricians Mate and had to do part of the pre-flight on the two S2’s we had at my division at NAS Pax River. The first thing I would do was fire up the heater in the winter months, for the rest of the guys. It was put up front to keep the pilots feet warm!

You are probably right but the onrs who are avid British car people would know!
