Suck up

When I got the decals from Bob, I neglected to ask about decal placement or numbering scheme! So, it is what it is…mostly harmless, I guess. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Anyway, done and ready to roll!

In either direction…

Most excellent!

Nice. Needs a photo on home rails next weekend.

Looks good from my house…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Needs HEP cables

How would that HEP? (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

Rooster has a fixation on HEPs. You just need to let him rave until his meds kick in.

I thought that HEP cables were only used on passenger cars? Not only that, but I’m pretty sure they weren’t around in the era I’m modeling…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif)

Bruce, but if the railroad runs boxcars in front of the passenger cars, for express freight, then the boxcars would have to have the cabled to carry the power back to the passenger cars. And yes, your era is a bit early for HEP.

Wouldn’t any Express boxcars have “stim” pipes, though, to transfer heat to the passenger cars?

Sorry, I just watched “Sand Pebbles” again. I find myself using “stim” and “wolve” a lot. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

I doubt there were very many express boxcars with arch bar trucks. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Perfectionist. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Not quite.

I was just thinking of that as I look at my finished model. It may not be totally scale, but it sure is sturdy! I find that much more important the way I handle my cars…

I know it’s inaccurate, but I call my trail cars HEP cars as they are at the Head End and supply Power to the loco (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif)
