Check your local craigslist, there is a gentleman in Indy that sells these, along with gates and other railroad hardware. Or if you have a friendly local signal maintainer. Many times when they replace the older set ups, they just trash the older lights. That is the only two ways I know to normally come up with a set of these. Even if you can just get the lights with the “spider” mount and the cross bucks. An old basketball goal pole can become a signal mast with a coat of silver paint. Just drill the holes and mount everything up. Mike
That is too cool!
That’s very cool! Maybe you could post a video clip when it’s all working?
I will try, haven’t quite figured out how to transfer video from my smart phone to the computer yet. I used to use our digital camara but the new beagle puppy destroyed the cable to download to the computer. I can hook it up tomorrow afternoon to the relay and give it a try. Mike
See if this works for a link to a short video. I took the glass cleaner and cleaned the mirrors/bulbs and lenses before I shot the video. Mike
That is sooo cool!
I figured out how to get the high quality video to work, so I updated the post. Mike
I am officially jealous.
That is just too cool.
Well done Mike, and the Bertie is cool too!
Thanks Mike, same color blue as your Sammie from the looks of it. Mike
Even having looked at this conversation multiple times my expectation is there will be sheet music.
Forrest, us musicians get that reference. But I also think about 20 years, as in “four score and seven years ago…”
Are youse guys real? Back in the day, when they scored, it came in a baggie! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-innocent.gif)
Well that’s what they told me …
John, well, when I scored, I had to hope she was on the pill.
