NOW you have something legitimate to complain about !
Gregory, Oh man I feel for you, I had both eyes bandaged for a week in a navy hospital. That was the worst as I remember.
I pray they find your answers for a rapid recovery and full vision.

Since I don’t drink, I think I’ll stick with what ails me…
Too late, John, in more ways that one !
boo hiss
Well, we all have our bears to cross. But reading about Jon and Devon has made me feel better. My problems aren’t as big and hairy as theirs.
Hang in there guys, things will eventually work out. Its the “eventually” part that can be the most trying.
As for ails, I will have a Yuengling, in Yunz honor.

Greg,
Perfect solution to your fine scaling modeling days. Switch to doing abstracts. Just glue random stuff anywhere and tell people its impressionist.
Avant Garde Gauge?

I like it! Of course, it’s not a whole lot different from what I’ve been doing all along …(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Devon, I’m happy that the latest spinal tap has given you some relief. I hope and pray that they can get that stubborn wound taken care of permanently.
John, so sorry to hear about the damage to your layout, especially at a time like this. Good luck with the chemo!
Prayers and best wishes to you both.
Geee … Here we are poking fun @ you and they are poking you with needles for the cure… Hang in there guys …
Well still going strong. This latest brain drain seems to be lasting. While not symptom free, its much more tolerable…
To use a phrasing structure sometimes employed by Grandfather Wood, It’s more tolerable than it would be if it were less tolerable than it is.
Interesting diagnosis. After having a CT scan in preparation for surgery, they found nothing. Surgeon called and said there is nothing to operate on. No foreign body, no calcified cyst. Wound track is almost completely healed. So I guess that is good news but leaves un answered questions. But I don’t care about that. What I care about is this should now clear me for shunt surgery provided the wounds don’t abscess again. They don’t feel like they are. And my spinal tap is wearing off pretty quickly. So would be nice to get in and get a shunt. I am hoping we can get going in April.

I have to ask, what changed? After all this time, what changed? Are you sure they looked at the right CT? Happens.

Too slow.
Yesterday the first of 3 infusion, each of over an hour, was delayed when the nurse was gossiping with another patient and failed to notice my pump wasn’t running … for 40 minutes!
Today I was cringing when a sweet 80 year old lady was stuck 7 times before they got a needle in her.
Yesterday I only got a three timer sticking; blew out the vein - instant purple blotch around the needle, 2nd through a nerve as a hot spot; No No! No!
Oh do you want me to take it out?
YES! Please ASAP!!!
Oh ok…
Called in an other nurse, easy peasy and no pain.
Today a 2 stick success story, 'cept for my incidental pains…
The Chemo hasn’t accumulated enough for the coming nausea and corrosive spit
The cleaning company my sister hired backed their trailer through my railroad. The Tucson loop was shoved 4’+ and left on the ground.
I lost it and had to leave before my mouth made it worse …
I was there because the job’s boss had failed to tell his workers about closets we had chosen to use as storage and I was making sure they stayed out of my guns and shop (that some were told about)…
In compensation the boss insulted my building choice and said he’d have a couple of guys lift it up and put a couple of ‘Proper legs’ under it. As if! It’s screwed together with 5" SS hex head self tapping screws. First I’ll save the track and then winch it back closer to alignment before attempting any lift
Should I live that long and have the strength to do it…
Hang in there, John. We’re all pulling for ya.

I have no freakin idea dude
Wow things are moving quickly now. I have been cleared for my shunt surgery by the wound doc. Once she looked at the CT and conferred with the general surgeon, she decided I needed no further wound care and has already sent that info to Seattle. I have already heard from them clearing me to move forward. So I will be setting up an appointment to go do my pre-op consultation with both the brain cutter and a general surgeon as well as do some testing. The said that should be able to all be done in one day. Then once thats done we can schedule the surgery.
Great news, Devon.
