Too late …already found it on what I believe is your blog .

Those pocket doors are sweet …did you build them ?

Well, no pics, then it didn’t happen.

Oh, David, it happened for sure. We’ve got witnesses. He’s gonna have to come clean sooner or …

In all seriousness, Devon, I hope your check-up went well and everything is still squirting as needed (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Well everything squirted just fine. The doc was very happy. So much so I got a T shirt to prove it.

Thanks for the laugh. And for the entertainment of the suspense.

Yay! Great pic, worth the wait!

Guess you didn’t like the collar thingy, but that’s cool. Made you laugh though, right?

Keep squirting, Devon!

Yeah the collar thing was a itchy.

Literally or figuratively? (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Now that made my day. Great photo and yes, well worth the wait. Now let’s just make sure that shirt is correct each and every day (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)We’re always thinking about ya, buddy.

Just think of the money you could save on diapers if you did that every time (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Good to see you Dev. You look great. (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Guys the doc said the CT scan looks good that he positioning is right where it needs to be in my itsy bitsy almost non existant brain ventricle. He did say that my newest scans are not a whole lot better than my originals which show that I have just slits instead of nice normal ventricles. And that I most likely will have problems with the ventricle collapsing on the end of the catheter like it did the very first time I had to go in and have the surgery revised. It’s just the way it is. He said there is no way to say if or when that will happen or if the situation requires surgery. The spikes in pressure I have once in awhile are likely just that, the vent collapsing and then inflating and unplugging the catheter. Nothing can be done about that. And as long as it is temporary is not a concern.

He does not do follow ups. He said they are pointless for my condition because there is no cure and as long as the shunt is working then we are doing all we can. He said he only needs to see me if the shunt fails. He said he expects a minimum of 10 years. That’s seems to be the normal life expectancy but he said it could be sooner or never again.

So the only time I need to do anything with this thing is if I start to feel symptoms that stick around. All in all good news. I expect maintenance. I can do a surgery every ten years if I have to. I have been feeling really good. Better than I have the last two years. Not only physically but mentally. I have both physical and mental energy. I want to do stuff and can do stuff. I am ready to get back to life. And have been and it’s been great.

Now that definitely counts as good news! (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)
