Memorial Day

My sincere regrets that many are not here now for they gave ALL THEY HAD. SALUTE

Flag at half staff from 6:00 am.

Vietnam 66 - 72

I salute all you veterans that served our country. My dad served in WWII in the Army Air Corps. I served in Law Enforcement.

I noticed the postings of quite a few Brothers-in arms. I hope and pray that you had a ‘good’ day today. This is one day that saying “It don’t mean nothing.” does not apply. All gave some and some gave all. Honor those that fell by living the life you would have wanted for them if you had traded places with them.

Welcome Home!

I served in the Navy during the Viet Nam era as a shipboard technician and it’s service I’m proud of. But my respect is for the guys who are combat veterans. Yes most military service can be dangerous, you’re almost always surrounded by nasty things that can go BOOM at any time. But, those guys are out there where people are trying to kill them and they still go out every day. So it’s to them that I stand and salute because they are the the heroes.

Thanks Jerry for reminding all of us.
