I like Cliff’s

John, I liked the last one because it has that abstract symbolism today’s logos often have. FWIW, it made me think of this.
Cliff, I think we have a winner here. That is exactly what I’m looking for. This image was bouncing around in my head and I could not put it to paper.
I like the first logo you designed but I really like the one Cliff came up with.
When it goes on the engine I can see a blue stripe to the left and right of the Blue Hills Railroad name that will wrap around the engine.
I also like your oval designs and if your RR should ever have some old time equipment say for a tourist train you could use one on it.

Thanks John. We were on the same wavelength I guess. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Thank You Todd, in the designs that were a copycat of Burlington Northern I was trying to go for very simple basic low detail so when it scaled down you could still see it. Cliff nailed it right on the head. I like your idea of the blue line wrapped around the loco. With spring almost here (with the exception of today) I probably wont look at painting anything until next winter. I was thinking about adding a tourist train at some point in time and like your idea of using one of the oval designs for that. I will hopefully be able to incorporate the new logo that Cliff came up with into it.

John… Like Andy, I prefer the top 3 with their variations… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
I know this doesn’t have a much to do with your rr, except mountains and hills some, but I love this paint job, wicked:
edit: forgot to mention, this is one of Bob McCown’s pictures.
Got to admit I also like the Rio Grande one and that is why I like this one for your logo, I had a water fall made out of the indigenous rock of the area and did my logo after it makes your RR hard to forget.

Stan, I agree with you on the first 3. I did have an attachment to them, but, Cliff’s blew me away. I think I may have to have a subsidiary railroad and use one of the Burlington Northern copycats for it. Of course my railroad will have to get a lot larger(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif). Oh and I’ll be in touch for decals as soon as I figure out sizes.
John P, that Rio Grande paint job is awesome. I hope I can work some detail like that into my locos and hope my skill improves by then.
Bill, That truly is a memorable logo you got. I like how the state is part of it. Must be nice being able to work on your railroad year round. I was just in your neck of the woods last week, the weather was great.
Thank You all for helping me make with this. I was messing around with this on and off for almost 5 years.
