How long did your magic carpet drive last? I have a railbus I’m putting one in but if they crap out fast I won’t waste my time.
Terry, Mine went bad because the drive gear slipped on the axle. I suspect this was do to my using Labell lubricant on the gear teeth that seeped to the axle and onto the joint pressing. The Labell stuff is very fine even the thick stuff. I’m pretty sure that was my mistake. If you use a thicker plastic safe lube you should be OK. Mine was already a few years old before I added the Labells.
