Get the whole set, Rooster. You can’t take any money with you when you go. (That’s what I heard–and it’s the philosophy I follow
)
If I bought the whole set then I would need to smash the boxes !
It this line continues to grow your LGB Superliner pic might become reality!
Perhaps or perhaps they might be interested in purchasing the rights to a control cab direct face plant? If so then we could talk about an F40PHR and Viewliners.
Jon these are made by someone in Germany, 1/29 scale , so the LGB locos look a little big , but they are pretty slick , and are about $800 apiece, not sure if it includes shipping.
Next to arrive I think is the diner then the Sightseer Lounge. Anyway he is going to have a 8-10 car train when he is done
Just looked on his page, second sleeper, a transition car, diner, a view liner baggage, and then a Sightseer Lounge
You, Sir, are a terrible, terrible influence!
That is the nicest thing anyone has said to me today. Fitting with the theme, here is this:
Run the rail down your fence line, big curves at the end. I’m sorry…
So 9.5’ DIAMETER equals what in LGB radius code? I know Amtrak mods like Devon knows hairspray and I also know that this picture is over 10yrs old.
Eric, Eric…I feel the Amtrak force in this one and if he fails there are others! Soon they get to the age where they say “Ok dad it’s not all about you”
Damnation…now I need a Vader outfit to go along with the Batman outfit that I don’ t,do not, ain’t got!
Ain’t feeling it BD …the boy is waaayyy beyond that stage !
I do need those two outfits to fulfill my super hero fetish though !
Who says I was posting that for your boy?
I’m still trying to find the phase 5 amfleet cars, bought the engine years ago thinking the cars would turn up somewhere soon.
So the R1 Eric states they have, is the smallest circle at 4.2 foot diameter.
R2 completes a main line with R1 at 5.4 foot.
R3 8.1 foot dia.
No R4
R5 at the stated 15.5 foot dia.
Anything else you need to bend yourself.
Even Oldest Son was impressed by this!
Incidentally I believe that the LGB 91950 set does R1 curves and they come up fairly inexpensive at times? Not trying to stir the pot just thinking out loud.
