Speaking of which, the water feature I was thinking of would involve a new knot hole, small pump, tank (a second j-box mounted beneath the main one would be fine), a bit of tube, and a new sign declaring “Crapper’s Full!!” Actuated gimble-mounted knothole to aim the stream at passers-by optional.

Having said all that, my better idea (and this will probably have been the greatest RR thing I’ve ever thought up), is: The Flying Outhouse. Involves a drone and dumping mechanism. Perfect for guys like Rooster or Andy who show up to Ops but don’t run a train!!

“Perfect for guys like Rooster or Andy who show up to Ops but don’t run a train!!” I plead guilty. It gets kinda lonely in Large scale around here. The most enjoyment is from seeing everyone again & shooting the breeze and just plain watching the general tomfoolery. The operations are an excuse. The Volvette video was weird, Rooster, a really fun way to ruin tires, though. Street legal… wouldn’t want to see it on my street…

For the record: I went to Ken’s mainly to see friends that I haven’t been able to see for a few years…

My health conditions don’t allow me to kneel, or bend over for more than a few seconds… Just standing

is a strain on my whole system… I figure I am doing pretty well as I did get off the Oxygen therapy and

can at least get around somewhat without a walker… Even with my own Railroad, Jane is the one doing all

the work on it… Ballasting, weeding, leveling track, etc, etc… Haven’t been able to do any work my railroad

since May, 2019… I figured I was lucky to even show up at Ken’s…

I do understand your challenges, and have challenges of my own. I still can get around a bit, and enjoy operations, but like you; I really enjoy meeting with friends…so many of them, and I miss every one of them…even you, the play-acting “Grump”…!!!

You are blessed with young Jane, who sure does a lot to help you to continue enjoying our hobby. Please say hello to her for me.

Keep with it, Andy. You are one of the many great characters, who help make our hobby, and friendships VERY enjoyable.

I’m way more than ready t0 cross the border again and spend some time with you guys. Ken cracked that I should fly south and enter via Mexico. No 'planes either! Andy, I’m on oxygen as well, 'though I generally manage without it - it’s a backup. I totally get what you said about bending down, also about sitting versus standing. I live with these conditions everyday myself. I really wanted to be there. Better times ahead, everybody!

Smiling and God forbid laughing is a “Massive Strain” on your system and has been for as long as I have know you! However I was too busy trying to do such I didn’t capture any pics which is ok with me as what happens at Kens stays at Kens even if it involves pine cones that he’s gonna shove…never mind!

Thankfully Bruce caught a semi late morning smile …kinda like the “SON” coming up from the east?

Not sure if I posted some of these pics before but felt like train ventilation/foaming this evening.

Note that I actually “Operated an outdoor railway” by dispatching a helper unit for Ric and Jon in the video and they made the grade because of the “helper” unit dispatched.
