Thanks Norman. I had heard that HLW did trains on the side. What is their main focus? I would love to see HLW produce that Civil war set that Kalamazoo had. That might actually sell well.
Hi Shawn:
Send HLW an email requesting the Civil War set.
As a Canadian, I have no concept of how desireable the Civil War set would be in the USA. But I doubt if someone will pay 900.00 (approx) for one as advertised on ebay.
Their website is www.h-l-w.com
Your best approach to enquire about the Civil War set is to call HLW and ask to speak with Vickii.
They are very approachable folks.

Thanks Norman I will have to contact them and see what they say. I saw that civil war set on e-bay. $900 is a bit much. I offered him $200 for it and he said no. He said he just sold a set a month ago for $600. Thats crazy. I cant believe what people try to sell stuff for. Maybe if im lucky he wont sell that set and then maybe go down in price.
The interest of that set would be the rabid civil war fans that buy anything, especially now with it being the 150th year. These guys will drop major coin on about anything around here.
