Greg, I fixed them as you suggested, six or seven years ago. Have you changed your mind? (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
“have you changed your mind”
Only lost it Steve… (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
…but have learned a few new things, so I was just wondering what things you did… also if you have #6 as well as WR switches.

Has anyone used any of the Kadee G-Scale trucks on anything? Was curious your opinion of them. Thanks
And NO, I don’t want suggestions on alternatives.
Staying on topic from the original poster and after re-reading the thread twice as suggested !
I’ve got a few cars I put them on. I really like them. They roll really well and have a nice weight to them. There were perfect for the Aristocraft Evans box cars. I’ve had no issues out of them at all, and I generally run longer trains too. On my layout it’s usually 25-30 cars. If I go to RLD, I’m pulling close to 55-60.

Okay, …on my freight car projects. They don’t work very well on locomotives. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
Chris, I have good experience with the Kadee G scale trucks, but I do agree with Eric and Greg E. about the wheels compromised back to back spacing.
That said, the wheels having a prominent tread to flange fillet are less likely to pick a turnout’s point rails and frog point but can ride up on the fillets on tight (out of spec.) rail spacing common with Aristo’s #6 turnout if not fixed.
For information about the B&M car with the Kadee #973 trucks, see vignette sub title:
“American Main Line (AML) Car 40 foot Car Examples”
See operation with that B&M car on a “Southern Pacific 61 car train” (video commencing with that car about 1/3 through)

Thanks Ted, I forgot how weird the wheel profile was compared to the NMRA standard.
