I had a hard time deciding because they are all very nice. Everyone did a great job.
This is tough - Everyone did a really nice job.
Okay, I don’t know if I can vote for the same project in two categories, but I am anyways. And no, I am not a compensated customer for this review.
OK I have thought about this for most of the day and have followed all the build logs since the challenge started.
1…Gotta give it to Ralph for most original as I’ve never seen a goat farm serviced by a R.R. but there’s a prototype for everything right?
2…Eddies Bamboo forks from the Dollar Store for Gingerbread trim in the gables is way too cool!!!
3…As for Shawn…what can I say ? I love his use of materials but I enjoy following his build log (along with his previous ones) he doesn’t seem to focus as much on the prototype as he does his own R.R. He is straight forward with some whimsical and some factual but over all makes excellent choices for his R.R. (It was a toss up between Shawn and Eddie for 2 and 3 but I loved that Gothic gable trim from Bamboo forks) Never seen Eddies RR
4… As for Bob’s build… (couldn’t find the original post of the rules and doesn’t matter as they have changed from the start) either way I love big buildings and the basic industrial drab boring look does it for me even though I love Victorian architecture as well.
Page 2?
Them goats got to get to town somehow

1. Most Original - Ralph (How many goat loading docks have you seen or heard of)??
Ditto Shawn,
Bob C.
First off, congratulations to all who participated. You are all winners.
Ron S.
I agree with Ron…you all stepped up to the challenge and the rest of us just sat on the sidelines.
Sorry if I seem a little wishy-washy but it was hard to decide.
Randy McDonald said:Iffen I can teach somebody a little history (or anything else) without it being a chore - Or even better, making them laugh as they learn. - then the project was a success. As a few folks have already noticed, the entire AV saga is set up that way. History, real history, is what holds all the rest of it together. (well, that and Welder glue. hehe)
... Mik... And throws in some history as well....
For my picks.
first off great job by everyone and thank you Mik for doing it.
Again thanks Mik and great job everyone.
Bump! voting ends tonight… any last minute ones?
Almost forgot to vote!
Sooooooooo,
Looking through some of LSC more recent posts, and in reference to my 2024 Mik Entry, I was in IKEA today with “herself”, and stumbled across this…
…a bamboo cutting board. And I thought I’ll go home and search through and see what the LSC gurus have said about bamboo….
…and ended here in a Mik Challenge, no less.
…oops and on edit got off the topic, but will return to it below…
Here’s what I learned so far from the Gurus…
Does anyone have the photos of this challenge? (Phew, almost got off topic!)
