Vic,

Nice salvage of some LGB m2075s! Are those the battery powered lemons that LGB issues from time to time?

I’ve been trying to breathe life back into one myself, and I have had the devil of a time repowering it. What are you using as the motor block (or blocks in this case)?

Hi Eric, Its got a Mack drive chassis under it, I used the whole of the lower plastic chassis. I LOATH these battery LGB engines, they are the worst individual things I have ever owned in large scale. This worked out well for me.

Thanks so much! I’ll keep my eye open for one on E-bay and the like. I have been dickering with Tamiya robotics motors. Limited joy… Oh, and I concur regarding the LGB battery operated locos. Very disappointing…My kids’ one lasted about 6 months before it started to get wonky.
