Well, since I didn’t rate toy merchant on any value scale other than my own, you may put your very own spin on that. Add quotation marks or whatever else turns your crank.

As it is Lewis Polk’s missive stands as he wrote it and it tells plenty. The way I see it: it should be required reading for some people whenever they feel like defending x, y or z manufacturer with scurrilous arguments and/or personal attacks rather than sticking to facts.

BTW operating model trains in a realistic fashion is the bane of many who have little to miniscule experience of how real railways function; usually they just don’t get it. But that’s OK, they can run their toys any old way they like — which is, from what I’ve seen, mostly in circles.
