My sincere condolences to you for your loss. I first became aware of your father’s layout and his excellent work with concrete as a material for buildings in the old Garden Railways magazine. He was an inspiration to alot of us in this hobby. He will be missed, I’m sure.

I’ve been away from the forums for a while so I didn’t see this until now. I’m very sorry for your loss, Kevin. My sincere condolences to you, your mom, and your family.

Thoughts and Prayers to you Kevin and family…

Very sorry for your loss, Kevin.

Kevin and Family,

Very sorry to hear about your loss. I pray for God’s comfort to you and your family during this difficult time.

Thank you all for the kind condolences and prayers. It never ceases to amaze me how despite many of us never meeting face to face we still come together as a family in times of need and sorrow. It’s one of life’s sad ironies that we seldom know the impact we have on others’ lives while we’re living. It is, however, of immeasurable comfort to those left behind to hear from those whose lives were impacted by our loved ones. It doesn’t necessarily ease the pain, but it does help cement their legacy in our hearts.

As I wrote in my original post, the Woodland Railway will continue on with regularly-scheduled operating sessions during the Summer and into the Fall (until the leaves get too deep). These will continue as long as there are operators willing to keep things going. The next one will be on August 6th, so if you are interested, please PM me for details.

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Later,

K
