GRRR — I’ve had excellent luck with Aristo #6’s until now. I have 4 from an early run of the Stainless version that rarely give me any trouble at all. Even the micro switches are still working outdoors in the north east :o
I bought a current run version in the spring. Painted it up and planted it a month or so ago. Just ran trains through it for the first time last weekend. My mainline runs Facing Point through the straight route. Derails the train every time. After only a quick look I think the points were installed out of gauge on the throw bar. I need to cut a short straight and pull the switch for closer inspection and re-work in the shop. It’s only holding a place for a future siding, so it won’t be missed.
