Holy crap, it’s HJ!
Mark Verbrugge said:Yeah, it does seem at times that there is an excessive focus on the negative. On the other hand, just a little more QC and a little less "head in the sand" attitude would go a long way to preventing both the product problems and the negativity.Ray Dunakin said:I don't know if they will survive either...if all the 'Aristocrap' and 'Bachmann is junk' posts have their way we will be down to USA, MTH, and a handful of small time producers. Keep on biting the hand that feeds ya and pretty soon you're starving. Not good news indeed.
I agree, Bob. I sure hope Bachmann, Aristocraft and USA Trains can avoid that fate in these tough times.
Mark Verbrugge said:I love my RS3 and have no complaints at all with AC. I also love my LGB Porters, and my Bachmann 45-ton switcher! And I'll soon be the proud owner of a Bachmann Annie with Barry's drive and Phoenix sound! So I'll be joining you and Marklin aboard the "S. S. Flatbroke". ;)
For the record I love my USA SD40-2, my Aristo RS3, and gasp...I just purchased a 'K', bad gears and all. Of course now I'm broke just like Marklin!
Any data to indicate interest by Walthers in acquiring LGB from Mearklin? Was it not Walthers the announced distributor of LGB products from Maerklin?
So what would the price be for X molds, X completed product, and X grapics/logo ownership?
Hopefully the MASTER OF THE MESSAGE, LSC’s own German translating service, HJ, will flesh out the facts.

Until the industry gets rid of the BS Artists that have the say in what goes on, just like the rest of industry, there is no hope their houses will be put in order.
So what if they fail. Serves them right.
All that tooling will not go waste. It never does.
