See, I told you it wouldn’t take you 2 years. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-sealed.gif)Excellent looking build Cliffy, looking forward to when it makes it on the layout.

Wow, that is absolutely amazing. You done did good Cliff. Gonna be tough to top that one. Thanks for allowing us to tag along on your journey.
Fantastic work Cliff. That’s one monster build. I really like the look of the shingles. Night shot looks great as well.
Shane
Absolutely amazing work Cliff.
All that left is pics in place ? ribbon cutting…
Wow, you’re all too kind, I’m speechless! Thank you so very much!!
it was a real pleasure, to observe the growing of this masterpiece.
thanks for sharing.
Cliff, I’ve been following along since about the mid-way point, and I have to say this came out very very well…the roof alone is a masterpiece of shape and coloring. Spectacular.
Now that you got your practice piece out of the way, I can’t wait to see what you can really do.
Just kidding y’know, it’s durn near priceless.
Wow! Way to go.

I’m not so kind but I am speechless as well.
I prefer to build and model in a different way but totally appreciate how much time you spent doing all the CAD drawings that went into that piece. You also COMPLETELY DID your research on the prototype to make it correct and I totally respect that as well!
I did find a mistake though…The weather vane is missing a few bullet holes but other than that just outstanding work!
However this is all just my opinion

I’m with you on that. (Maybe the bullet holes too).
Looks wonderful.
Let me know when you’re ready to put it outside and I will drive up and give you a hand.

When will the kits be available?

My question exactly!
I got a feeling you might need to take out a 2nd mortgage to afford one…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
Thanks EVERYone for your so kind remarks, and I REALLY mean that. I feel so surrounded by friends!!
I won’t keep repeating all the thanks I feel, because that would be too tedious to read! So please insert an Invisible Gracias Grande as I make a few responses to specific remarks.
Hollywood, I hope to at least bring the ore bin model to the D&B.
Randy, roger that, it’ll be a few months…
Jim, I sure appreciate your believing this has been educational and useful.
Chris, you haven’t added the time for laser install (well, maybe that’s not fair), trestle-building, trips to NV for presentation… But yeah, it will be done by next October, one way or another… So, 18-21 months, not 24… with abject neglect to the layout… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)
Dan, Shane, Jon, Korm, John P., I’m so gratified by your encouraging thoughts and opinions.
Sean, please admit to Rooster you put me up to the weathervane. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
John C., don’t even get me started about the Ophir, my brain can’t handle it… Besides, my wife expects me to work on Virginia City before the next mine…
Brutha Roosta, I’m sure glad you appreciate the CAD & research effort in all this!
Bruce, really? Would love that.
Tom, Bob and Ken, thanks for the vote of confidence. I’m not sure how much I’ve got into this for raw materials / paint / hardware / adhesives / whatever, maybe $1k. Half of that is the many sheets of material. But for labor… while still working a day job, it’s more a question of opportunity. But I appreciate the thought, even if in jest.
Thanks again all,

Is it done yet?
What they all said!!!

Cliff I don’t believe they were jesting, but I would recommend (if the thought of sale has even crossed your mind) that you get a ballpark figure together before the ECLSTS comes around
