Gavin, the link works fine…
By gar, I think young Gavin has mastered it…nice painting.
Agreed Andy, links are fine be it within LSC or via facebook.
What I was trying to do is to imprint the pic proper into the posting so that people could view it directly without having to click on the link.

I don't particularly like wontons. Be they women or food.On the other hand, I do like Wanton women. The more they want, the better I like it.
Women Wontons…hmmmmmmmmmmmm! I recall that when our ship spent a week or so anchored in the bay in Hong Kong in the 60’s that there was one of the bar girls in one of the bars there that catered mainly to the US Navy and British Navy ships visiting Hong Kong. She went by the name of Wonton. It was her nickname given to her and it had something to do with her great skill in eating large noodles.

Cigarettes and whisky and wild, wild women, they’ll drive you crazy, they’ll drive you insane …
Or, The Road to Ruin: Slow horses and fast women.
As for “the more they want,” they (wanton or not) tend to want the entire contents of your wallet, your bank balance, whatever you’ve got stashed away in the Caymans, and your soul – and it’s no good saying you’ve already sold it to the Devil, they’ll go and demand it back, and the Devil ain’t gonna take on no righteous woman (you know what they say: Hell hath no fury …)
Rudy’s comments re Wonton noodle sizes back in the '60’s…
I was but 6 years old back at the beginning of that decade. Noodles must have been very BIG back then…
LOL

You’d really have had to been there to experience it. Young sailors on liberty call in various ports in the Pacific when our money still talked over there. I was around 18-20 years old then and got stationed on a old flat bottom LST (Landing Ship Tank) that was homeported in Yokosuka Japan just after Navy boot camp. Cruised all over the pacific hauling Marine and Army units and their eqipment all over the place taking part in various beach landings and various skivy joints. To this day when I have one too many I tear up thinking about those days that I will never see again. I need to get back on topic and do something about trains

Even after I got out of the Navy I rode myself hard and put myself away wet for many years. I was never a slow horse and chased many of those wild things until I met my wife who I have been with since 1971. The devil would be operating G gauge trains too if he had to face her wrath

Gavin,
The noodle stories are related to the fishing and hunting stories, the farther in the past, the larger the objects.
LOL… and when I was 6 the snow banks were absolutely HUGE compared to today…
Must be environmental change.
Any yes, my trains in today’s world are VERY small compared to what they were in 1962…
Shame…
