Here’s an idea…

On another forum I hang out at [ http://www.myrvtalk.com/ ], you have the ability to search for new posts since your last visit. Makes a nice quick read of all new posts without having to jump around from from topic to topic. They also allow you to mark the entire forum read with 1 click. Very fast database too.

The engine is vBulletin® Version 3.7.3.

Hmmmm. I've been to several photo sites and tried to copy the photo. It said no.

You are both correct. When you build a web page you can "layer" the page, using a clear layer above the photo. This prevents the simple "right click" to copy the photo. But if you can see it, there are ways to copy it. Ralph

True, But it can be made even more difficult. Quite a few slide shows, and even still viewers are flash players. You can usually find the Flash file in your cache with an .FLV extension, but then you need a flash player to view it. If you want to get a .JPG , then you need to capture it somehow.

All doable if you are willing to find the software and take the time. Most people won’t bother if it takes more than a click or drag.

Since I have just been Googling looking for something I have a thought. How about a category where we can look for the various makers of items for G scalers? It might be a low cost advertising option for makers where we could find the various items we buy.

There are two things I would like to see changed here at LSC.

I would like to see the members post counts eliminated.
I would also like to see the ability to edit the “join date” removed.
There is one member I am aware of that has changed his.
I don’t care how often a member has posted. But I do care that when I see a classified ad, that the join date is accurate.

One thing I do appreciate, is that Bob does not distinguish between “paying” and “nonpaying” members.
I prefer to be a member of one big “class”. I hope this does not change.

And whatever changes are made, please do not implement a system that rates members or topics.
I am here to enjoy myself and learn. Not to have my presence here critiqued.
