Fill in the blank, "Happiness is...."

Ron Hill said:
I have had a passion for trains and model trains all my life but my train passion cannot hold a candle to knowing true happiness and that is knowing the Savior. These trains will pass away with time but my relationship with Jesus will never pass away.
Salvation and trains, life is good!

Happiness is also planning my S&CWRR. Started out 40 years ago as the HO EW&W, which grew into G-scale. Then briefly the WP&SW, and now the S&CW.

Happiness is also friends who are into the hobby, and are a constant source of admiration and inspiration. Jerry, you know who you are!!

Well my mother (god rest her soul) in later days said it was a good BM

She was right

Join in at the “LSC Party room”, at the ECLSTS in Spring 2013…

Fr.Fred

BM’s, BS, and “Drag’n Brag” are all about the Party Room…come out and have fun meeting your friends and showing/bragging about your “Stuff”…!!

Happiness is the life we’ve been blessed with.

I thought this thread would be a bit funnier not so philosophical but hey that is OK too.
Happiness is living in a still great country that allows us to pray the way we want to and offers us the security to live a leisure lifestyle many in the world are envious of.
Happiness is the luxury of being able to follow our dreams and have a little extra money for lifes essentials like food, clean water, shelter, and of course trains.
Happiness is a hobby like trains that brings like minded people together to be friends.

Ok enough of the hand holding, pat ourselves on the backs good feeling good time talking, lets get it back to having just plain train fun… LOL
Happiness is… backing that long train into the siding and not having a single car derail.
Todd

Happiness is having the will power NOT to type what I wanted to type, so I could stay as a member on LSC…

Happiness is… having a wife that intercepts a big box of trains the mailman just left and is actually happy for you when you unpack it and show her the goods and tell her the deal you got on them.
A happy wife is a happy life !

There's an add-on to the above

What you do with that day is up to you.

gees Larry i see you have a big sign BM out in the shop is that to remind you? lol

…Having the right tool at hand, and the drill bit that you need is the sharpest one in the set.

… picking up the cars after a derailment and there is nothing broke!

… the smart a*s neighbor comes over when your testing the new track you just laid… and nothing goes wrong.

THAT is pure fantasy my friend. More like you HAVE the tool in your hand, you set it down right in front of you..... then spend 45 minutes trying to find it again.

And the drill bit you need is the one you broke last time.

…When Rooster behaves himself.
…When I dont have to work.
…Waking up to a fresh coating of snow.

…putting that train you have wanted for a long time on the track for the very first time.
…running the first train on a newly completed layout.

…waiting for the Black Friday order from Aristo-Craft to arrive.
…laughing at all the funny sayings that everyone is writing.
…being part of this great site and the friends I’ve made here.
