Now we see what is in it for Chrysler. Fiat will indeed, assume 35% of Chryslers dept.

However, the bottom line is that the USA is just getting some more foreign junk and we are suppose to be happy about that. So is this the Hope part, or the Change part?

I won’t be buying a" Chryiat"
The investment group that owns Chrysler gives up 35% of the ownership and dumps 35% of the debt.
Chrysler just one of many leveraged buyouts gone bad.
Whether or not Chrysler avoids bankruptcy will determine the merits of this deal.
