I did report it, but the seller told e-bay they sold it in the store. It was a $300 golf driver I bid $25 on, or some such thing. There was another “suspicious” sale I lost, but the details escape me now. (Most things do lately.)
funniest thing about ebay~ last few items I got came AFTER I lost the bid~ second chance sales…was outbid but apparently whoever bid against me backed out!
Life is short. And the older you get, the shorter IT gets! If you want something and can afford it, buy it and enjoy it while you can. But, check your retailer’s prices before buying on ebay because their prices are often lower, including tax and shipping. I continue to be amazed at some of the ebay “buy it now” prices, they’re often 25% to 50% higher than advertised retail prices.
