Large Scale Central

European centre-well flatcar

That is so cool! Love it.

Nice work Tim.

Two more projects awaiting the spray booth. I like my Euro cars long (I hate the R1 rule that dictated LGB design philosophy, all its existence!!!). First car made from 11th and 12th LGBMRC Anniversary cars. Second car made from 11th Anniversary car and a very rare first release #3019 guard’s van from the early 1970’s. It seems that the ‘collector’ cars are worth considerably less than railroad roadname cars.

An extended postal car for my lengthened Euro passenger consist. Basically, two LGB #3019 cars joined on a single extended underframe. Duplication of car markings does make this a little on the colourful side (may need to find out how to remove excess markings without damaging painted surface). Roof and modified underframe require painting to complete.

N ice work Tim. Building up a good size fleet there.

David,
I like to run unique cars (and locomotives), so when the building ‘bug’ strikes, I take advantage of it.

This quote I understand and know the feeling. :)
