Eggliner question

But what happens when someone comes up with one?
Send me a power brick. I have about 6" from the middle of a B'mann coach, and the steps....

If you were in California it would be an expensive fee!

Fee? Nah you’d get the bloody brick BACK… with one of a kind coachwork added. You just pay freight both ways and I’ll supply the idiotgenuity to figure out how to make it work… I’m pretty sure I even have some seats and a kerosene headlight around here someplace. You might have to supply a drumhead if you wanted one tho.

For kids? It’s hard to beat the Heartland MAC. You just can’t make it stop working.

Of course, one of my favorite youtubes is:

Actually if you want to really be creative, think about what else you can do with Eggliners…

Just one concept… http://interurbansofthefoxvalley.blogspot.com/search/label/Eggtroliner

Enjoy !

We have “someone” who is active on this list who doubled up one. I think we need to see his work too!

He’s probably too busy signing autographs after his article in GR this month but the Eggliner “basher” is Jerry Barnes.
Take a look at his bash on his website

I did the three cars here for my Eggliner to pull. The motorized one is on the far left. I made the other three out of observation car ends I got mostly on ebay. I still don’t understand why Aristo does not make any cars for the Eggliners, since they are pretty popular. I just put them on a set of heavyweight trucks.

They would never make it passed the wife. She has set a high fee if one wants to operate on the D&S. Later RJD

The cost to operate on most layouts is the owner has to watch the barbecue!

I like the Eggliner but must admit that I do not have any on my RR.

I gather that they are one of Aristo’s best selling lines which, that being the case, helps the Company stay solvent enabling them to make other less popular models for large scale aficionados. It also seems that not only lots of kids love Eggliners, a great way of introducing them to our great hobby I think, but so do many large scalers wives. That, I feel, is another plus point: a hobby that is shared by others in the family.
