I’m glad I don’t need any more “Train Stuff”…I won’t be buying anything more in my life time. I’m just enjoying what I have. I’m glad somehow planned well and have just what I need for a lifetime.
I do see the possibility that the economy will start to play bloody havoc with the “Toy Market”…the price of track is just the start. I’ll bet we don’t see B’mann planning too much for the future after the K27 “Experience”, along with the way things are going in the US of A.
…for that matter, any of the US TOY train companies…
Fred, of late I’ve feared Big B has been alot more interested in On30, FAR more than LS, its easier to produce things in that smaller scale and there’s a potentially much larger marketshare, they get 3 new items for every one we get.
They went out on a limb to make the K, a long way out on that limb, and if its a flop, either from bad word of mouth or being released at the beginning of an economic downturn, I also doubt we’ll see anything major being offered for a while. I expect a reissue of the Climax, maybe a reissue of the Indy, maybe a few more 1/20 cars but not a from-scratch item till the economy picks up.
I’m also glad I have enough junk to keep me busy for a few years to come. Anyway thats the way I see it.
