If I come to York can I hang out with you guys?

Sure! You can come for dinner!

Rooster

After just visiting the Amherst show in West Springfield MA. I am really looking forward to this show that will still be mostly all large scale…

Because if this turns into a show like the one I just left I will not be going anymore.

It is great seeing THOUSANDS of people still interested and supporting model railroading, but it sure makes going to the show a royal PIA.

Let alone the Amherst show charges you $5.00 to park and $14/person to get in.

Well, you’ll all be relieved to know that the Queen and I will not be attending this year’s show. So, you won’t be tormented by another ridiculous item like the “Sasquatch Car” at the D & B. However, that does give me another year to come up with something even more annoying.

-Kevin.

Wait! The Chandlers not coming into the show? Hey Bruce, if it’s the money, I’m sure Hollywood would front you, or open the back door so you can sneak into the alcove. It won’t be the same without you! (Youse)

Thanks. Nah, it’s not the money, but it’s just that Jean doesn’t really care for it. Plus, I seldom buy anything and seem to go through the vendors awfully quick, so I thought why spend $20 for something she doesn’t care for? However, we’re still planning on the Drag and Brag; that and lunch at “The Left Bank”.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif) We might also hit the B&O museum on our way up.

If thats the case Vin then you can start attending the Scranton Steam Up. I have always enjoyed that a lot more. Their is not much in the way of venders but its always a good time and low key.

We may look into doing that next year, just depends when my companies physical inventory takes place because even though I don’t get paid for it, I still have to do inventory! (and it really sucks).

And for the past two years now they have moved our inventory to Feb., doing it the last Fri, Sat, Sun of the month… did I mention that it sucks?

Vincent, yes, it sucks. I am dreading the next time I have to do inventory. And we do it at least 3 times a year.

This is upsetting and hurtful news!

I will be there and here I thought Jean liked “bird watching” ? Let her set up a tripod in the Alcove with a zoom lens and catch me in action across the room!

He’s going to be strutting, again.

You say that like its a bad thing…

I’ve had a MAJOR conflict come up and I’ll not be making the show this year.

For those who might have heard and wondered, Kay and I are in the process of relocating to a Senior Retirement community but we’re still in the house in Dewey until a facility is available… We’re still physically fine and are well. Some may wonder about the mental side though. We are older than Ric and Andy… (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

We’ll miss the fun this year.

I miss David Russell…

I’m still here Fred but I recently replaced my old “noise canceling headphones” with new ones and I’m still learning them Father Fred, or is that Friar Fred? These new ones have a battery in them…

Bruce, just wanted to say that it was great meeting you at the D&B last year, and I wanted to tell you that I’m definitely making good use of the tools I bought from you.

Kevin, last year was my first D&B. And through the fog of all the amazing and wonderful memories I retain of that event, your “Sasquatch Car” remains my most-remembered.

Cliff

Reservations made. Can’t wait. The alcove, the D&B, just doesn’t get any better.

Hope anybody who isn’t coming will change their minds. I really enjoy seeing everyone.

Pat

Me too Mr.McCarty!
