EBay strikes again

I am on eBay chat now. They are wondering what I mean by “died”??? I bet they will get the idea of what died means when they do not get paid the listing fees for the 1300 items he has listed.

Agreed that this is the least of the family’s concerns, but the problem is even trying to get hold of eBay to fend off any further damage (or ruined Christmases per the feedback he is getting) is pointless. All they want to do is protect their sellers, dead or alive anymore.

EDIT- eBay told me to take it up with PayPal, who immediately sent me back to eBay, and I apparently cannot do anything until he has been dead for 20 days.

Deceased. Ceased to be Living, Stiff, Gone, Passed On, In a better place....

I wish I could remember the exact Python bit

Oh, here it is…

E’s passed on! This parrot is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E’s expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E’s a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e
rests in peace! If you hadn’t nailed 'im to the perch 'e’d be pushing up the daisies!

Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E’s off the twig! 'E’s kicked the
bucket, 'e’s shuffled off ‘is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin’ choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-PARROT!!

That and the Zappa’s “Whatever Happened to All the Fun in the World?” (Larry’s not with us anymore, yeah, he bit the big one) came to mind…

YOU MUST BE TALKING TO SANGEE OVER IN INDIA??? THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND UNLESS YOU SAY THEY ARE VISITING THE VESTAL VIRGINS!! WISH I COULD FIND THIS VIDEO TO POST THAT I RECEIVED ABOUT THIS!! IF I DO I’LL POST IT YOU GUYS WILL LAUGH YER DONKEY’S OFF!!

It’s unfortunate that eBay gets their fees from sellers like this one and they are not going to kill the golden goose that pays and pays. I complained once and never got anywhere with that. You ought to see the negative feedbacks with those that sell music CD’s. It’s in the thousands !!!

What gets me is the people that takes the risk knowing you might get SCREWED… NO KISS…

TOF in Lost Wages

Garrett, I too had someone die or went to prison or was abducted by aliens, anyway they dissappeared and I never got my item, this was before Paypal so I had no real recoarse to get my MO back, I lumped it up to experience and just moved on.

I had that all as buyer excuses back in the day of why the USPS MO had not hit the door yet!

Train stuff was bad getting paid for, old French car stuff was even worse, and old Volvo stuff was always bought by the north end of a southbound horse for whatever reason!

With relatively few U.S. sellers opening listings to worlwide shipping, sometimes one is 'forced' to deal with those who may be unscrupulous. As stated previously, I have purchased at least one hundred LGB items from this seller, previously and the quality, while not always 100% has been generally acceptable. I always investigate a seller's 'credentials' before purchasing any item.

The intent of my post was to warn others of my misfortune. It was not intended for use of those who would rather shoot the messenger. I am an experienced eBayer with nearly 3000 transactions, with approximately one-third of those as a seller. The information is for those who would benefit by not dealing with sellers that we are prewarned of.
