When we were short on cash, it was Labatts or Moosehead from Canada. Back then, I could buy Labatts cheaper than Budweiser. Ralph

Victor Smith said:Well sorry but for a poor young lad that often had to settle for Acme or Black Label that high-falootin' stuff you drank was way out of our league! It told on my taste buds later too. A national magazine once rated something like 22 different beers for taste and quality. My choice came in dead last! hehe! :)
Sorry guys but Olympia ???:O. I discovered Anchor Steam, Guinness and John Courage very early on and never developed a taste for the domestic stuff. Yes I know I'm a complete beer snob.
another real vic(tory)!

When I was a very young man a buddy of mine showed up with a case of Shaffers at our local Field of Drinks (the place us young people would go to share brews and stories), his logic, you get a whole pack for the same $ as a typical 6 pack, we found out why…Yeeeewww! Foul liquid! we ended up abandoning the case where it stood, funnny thing, no one else took it.
I need to add a pic now that the hot dog, ketchup and mustard bottles are added, also made a large roadside “EAT at the DOG” sign.
One of my favorite buildings and places to eat was in Conifer Colorado they had a really great chilli dog.
